Online Primary Resources

As well as our in-person sessions, we have developed resources to contribute to your RE and PSHE provision in schools. All these resources can be requested from bookings@encounterchristianity.co.uk.

Digital activity packs

  • Back to school wellbeing activity pack (KS1 and KS2)

This resource pack encourages pupils to reflect on and observe their own feelings about returning to school; find their place in the world around them; identify their emotional support network; and empathise with how others may be feeling at this time.

  • Christmas activity pack (KS1)

This lesson introduces pupils to a variety of art work from countries around the world, and teaches them to compare how different cultures portray key scenes from the nativity story. By the end of this session pupils will have created their own artwork based on key features identified throughout the session.

  • Christmas activity pack (KS2)

  • The Mystery of the Empty Tomb: an Easter activity pack (KS2)

Videos

The following video assemblies were put together to support mental wellbeing during the pandemic.

  • Mindful moments

This 7 minute video assembly gives space for a time of mindfulness meditation and leads pupils through how to engage in this.

  • Exploring Emotions

This resource includes a 10 minute video assembly and an accompanying activity pack. It gives space for children to record a ‘feelings diary’; present their emotions through artwork; learn how to talk about their feelings with a friend; and educates them on the complexity of emotions.
